Rules and Regulations

• The exhibits should be designed and made by using Modern Science (i.e. Electronics, Robotics, IoT and Automations).
• You can present innovations related to following fields:
  • Agriculture
  • Energy conservation
  • Public Safety and Welfare
  • Transportation
  • National Defense
• The exhibits should be not dangerous or harmful in any way and should be able to present in front of an audience.
• School students from grade 6 to 13 can apply for the competition.
• One participant is allowed to present only one innovation.
• All the innovations should be presented as individual creations. No teams are allowed.
• The invention has to be a participant’s own creation. An invention created by another person should not be reproduced and submitted.
• Invention evaluation will be done through online only, based on the video and the information you have entered in the application. The video you create should be limited to 05 minutes and should include information about the novelty of the innovation, utility and benefits to human/animal, commercialization potential, scientific principles, environmental impact, safety, sustainability, export market potential, etc.
• The deadline for all the applications is 20^th of March, 2024.
• After evaluating all the videos received, best 50 innovations are selected to be presented at AISSA expo exhibition, which will be held on April 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd at Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksa Theater, Colombo 07.
• The best 50 innovators will receive a certificate at the exhibition.
• The best 10 innovators will receive special prizes.
• The 50 selected students will be contacted by our team with further information about the exhibition
• The judge’s decision is final
